Announced on a rolling basis rather than held back for a single reveal, so this page grows between now and September.

  • Hon. Mudrick Ramadhan Soraga

    Minister for Communication, Information Technology and Innovation, Zanzibar

    Member of the House of Representatives for the Bububu constituency, and the minister whose portfolio covers the ground this Expo is built on. Mudrick previously served as Minister of State for Economy and Investment, and has held leadership roles across regional diplomacy and tourism.

  • Ikram Soraga

    CEO, Zanzibar Startups Association, Zanzibar

    A passionate ecosystem builder, Ikram is empowering entrepreneurs and startups across Zanzibar. Through his leadership at the Startups Association, he's cultivating innovation, supporting grassroots tech ventures, and laying the foundation for a thriving, inclusive digital economy.

  • Zahoro Muhaji

    Founder and CEO, Tanzania Startup Association

    An ecosystem builder, angel investor and policy advocate with thirteen years in entrepreneurship and early-stage growth. Zahoro founded the Tanzania Startup Association, helps shape the laws startups here have to work under, and sits on the team behind Tanzania's National Development Vision 2050.

  • HRH Princess Azola Mabinza

    Executive Chairperson, African Monarch Group, South Africa

    A systems engineer, broadcaster and entrepreneur who represents the Xhosa Kingdom of the Eastern Cape as Executive Chairperson of the African Monarch Group. Azola co-founded Khula Lula, South Africa's first female-owned private equity firm, which closes funding gaps for young Black women-led tech startups, and is a director at the waste-to-energy company AsherAfrica and at Thandazwe Heritage. Previously the sole female systems engineer at Broll | Cushman & Wakefield, she now hosts a DStv talkshow introducing young people to careers in tech, arts and enterprise.

  • Sanjay Raja

    CEO, ZanLink, Zanzibar

    Sanjay is the driving force behind digital connectivity in Zanzibar. As CEO of ZanLink, he's committed to expanding access to reliable internet and ICT infrastructure. With technology as his tool and development as his goal, he's helping bridge the digital divide one connection at a time.

  • Martin Kwame Awagah

    Board member, Africa FinTech Network, and former President of the Ghana FinTech

    A digital economist and fintech policy consultant with more than twelve years behind him, including a spell at Ghana's Ministry of Finance. Martin advises governments, works with the African Union on digital asset policy, and campaigns for financial inclusion and digital literacy. He co-founded Arkel Limited.

  • Adwoa Ankoma

    Co-Director and Director of Policy and Research, Electric South, South Africa

    A tech policy strategist, researcher and South African-qualified attorney, and formerly a public policy manager at TikTok. Adwoa builds AI policy toolkits that protect artists' work and argues for digital equity across the continent. She read entertainment and technology law at UCLA.

  • Benjamin Owusu-Ansah

    Founder, CyberBells, and faculty at Trust and Safety Africa Academy, Ghana

    Known as The Event Oxygen, Benjamin is an international event host, Pan-African business convenor and cybersecurity professional. He moderates the Expo's high-level conversations and runs a masterclass on effective communication for IT professionals, drawing on years of hosting summits that convene CEOs, policymakers and development partners.

  • Lyonga M. Mbesa

    Executive Director, Creative Corner Foundation, Cameroon

    A transformation leader and creative strategist, Lyonga builds the frameworks that turn African talent into economic opportunity. Through the Creative Corner Foundation and mAFfy Studio he runs AI and digital skills programmes for children, young people and women, and makes Africa's case on innovation and the future of work on international stages.

  • Yolanda Mbanguzi

    CEO and founder, Zoe' Projects and Consulting, South Africa

    A South African industrial engineer specialising in process engineering, automation and business analytics. Yolanda's consultancy takes its own Zoe'Botics bot-as-a-service into banking, manufacturing, construction, supply chain and aviation, and she co-founded the B2B resource-sharing platform Ecoosty. An award-winning innovator, she trains and speaks on process engineering and tech careers for young people.

  • Robert Okello

    Founder and CEO, Maarifasasa Limited, Uganda

    A Ugandan tech entrepreneur, social innovator and international development consultant. Robert founded Maarifasasa, a Pan-African EdTech and talent acceleration startup that upskills young Africans and connects them to digital employment, which puts him squarely on the question the Expo keeps returning to: how training turns into an actual job.
