Four ways in

The Expo is capped at 300 delegates, so every tier is a small number of places. Pick the tier that covers the days you want, then book through our ticketing platform.

Common questions

  • Is early bird pricing still available?

Yes, until 26 August 2026. The prices above are the early bird rates. Standard rates apply from the following day, and checkout is where the price is finally set, so book before the cutoff rather than on the day.

  • What do I need to get into day 3?

Day 3 is the Presidential Reception and the awards ceremony. Entry requires either a VIP ticket, which includes it, or a standalone Presidential Reception pass. Ordinary and Student tickets do not admit you on day 3.

  • How does the free student pass work?

There are 100 free student places for days 1 and 2, and they are given out by draw. To enter, post about the Expo on social media, tag us, and submit the link to that post along with your name, contact details and school. We check the post, then your entry goes into the next draw. There are two draws, one in August and one in September, and an entry that is not drawn in the first stays in for the second.

  • Does entering the student draw mean I have a ticket?

No, and this matters: an entry is not a place. You are told your entry is received, and if you are drawn we contact you on the phone number you gave. Do not book travel on the strength of an entry. There is no confirmation email at any stage, so keep the reference you are shown when you enter.

  • Do I pay for a student pass?

No, and there is no checkout step. The student pass is issued on this site rather than through the ticketing platform, so you will not be asked for card details at any point. Anyone asking you to pay for one is not us.

  • Where does payment actually happen?

Checkout runs on our ticketing platform, not on this website. You will be taken there to pay and your ticket and QR code are issued from there. This site never handles your card details.

  • Can I transfer or refund a ticket?

The refund and transfer terms are set out on the refund policy page. For anything urgent, or for a name change on an existing booking, email tickets@techaiexpo.co.

  • Do you do group or corporate bookings?

Yes. Email tickets@techaiexpo.co with the number of places and the tier you want and we will arrange it and invoice you directly.

  • Do I need a visa to attend?

Most visitors to Tanzania need a visa, and Zanzibar has its own entry requirements on top. What applies to you depends on your nationality. See the travel page and check the official Tanzanian immigration guidance before you book.
